The archaeological importance of Dara lies in the well-preserved information on Byzantine architecture and urban planning. After here continue to Deyrul Zafaran Monastery. This monastery is a Syriac Orthodox Monastery. Originally it was a temple and converted into the monastery in the 5th Century. Continue to Kasimiye Madrasa where is a Historic Islamic Seminary. It was startedt to build by Artquids and comleted by Akkoyunlu Dynasty dating back to late 14th Century. Last place is Old Mardin and Free time over there. After the tour transfer back to your hotel.
